Question: What do you do with the information that you collect? Answer:Registration is Free, quick and simple. We do not sell, rent or disclose any personally identifiable information to any third party organizations. Question: I just filled out my profile but I am not listed on Senior Date Network and I cannot use my member pages. Answer: We review all profiles to reduce the number of problem members. We review all profiles within 24 hours. Until we have reviewed and have approved a member profile, new members will not be listed on the site and cannot access the features. Question: What features do I get with FREE Basic Membership? Answer:You can send flirts. You can receive email messages from other members. You can upload photos. You can upload galleries Question:What features do I get with the Premium Membership? Answer: You get a FREE internal email account. You can upload photos. You can upload photo galleries You can choose an avator You can choose your favorites. You can choose your matches. You can use the news. You get Member Alerts You can View all profiles. You can Chat online with our Chat Room You can Chat online with IM. We now have Video Chat which lets you see the person you are chatting with. You can email between members You can blog You can create a Friends Circle You can Flirt. This lets you test the waters without putting it all out there. You can SKYPE if you are signed up with your SKYPE server. Question: Why do you only process your payments using Paypal. Answer: This will be put into affect if and when we initiate fees.Very simply, your security! We do this because as a private merchant we do not need or want to store your payment information and Paypal offers the security and peace of mind that we wanted to pass along to our members. Question: Why should I use the member only email system rather than my personal email? Answer:The provided member only email system that we provide gives you and extra level of security and personal safety. If you give your personal email address (replying with your personal email)you give the other person all of your personal information. It is possible to trace your email to give your phone number, place of employment and address, including a picture of your house! The other person cannot get this information through this site. BE SAFE! Do not give out your personal information until you are ready to move to the next step. That includes your personal email address. Please use the member only email that we provide. Question: How do I send an email to another Member? You must be logged in to send a member only email. You must first select a member as "My Favs". Every member that you select will then be on your email list. You can then select a member from that list to send emails to. From there it is like any other email system. Question: Why can't I retrieve received emails? Answer:The software DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY SAVE RECEIVED EMAILS.First you must create a folder using the create folder feature. You can create many folders. You must then select a folder and click move For example if you create a folder named "Received email" you will select "Received email" and click on "Move". The email will then be moved and saved in the "Received email" folder. Question: I can only view a few members. Is that all the members that you have? AnswerWe have many more members to view. You must first sign up for membership to see our full membership profiles. If you are already a member you must log in and view member profiles from your personal home page. You will be taken there automatically when you log in. Question: What youtube code do I use for video upload, the url or the embed code? Answer: Always use the Embed code when uploading a video on our site, your video will not play otherwize. Once approved by admin your ready to go. Question: I am having problems uploading photos. Answer: You photo might be too large. You can use photo shop or similar software to reduce the size of your photo. We have upgraded to allow most pictures, but if your camera is HD or very high megapixels you will probably need to either crop or reduce the size of the picture. Question: I uploaded several pics to my gallery, why do I not see all of them. Answer: Many times if you upload more than a few pics in your gallery you have to click on the pic to go to the next pic, as you run your mouse over the pic you can see that the mouse pointer will change and that means that you need to click on that pic to see the others. Question: It wont allow me to edit my profile? Answer: You cannot edit anything in view mode, you must click on my account then choose the edit that you want. Question: Why do words like can't and don't in my description section display as don//'t and can//'t ? Answer: It is because of our scripting language, we ask that you please instead use them as, do not, dont, or can not, cant. Question: How do I view my home profile where the search box and information box from admin is? Answer: There are two views of your profile, the first one is the main view (or home view) view this by pressing the home tab along the middle portion of your screen with the other tabs, or if you are on this help page click the word home at the top right of the screen on the help page. The second view is the simple profile view and you get to this by clicking on the view profile button in the middle of your home page screen. |
